Uncle Bob, you will be very much missed. You were always welcoming and engaging to be with. My first memories of Bob was of him entertaining us with a string and can “telephone” – it was always interesting to spend time with Bob. I blame Bob for my love of science fiction – found his sci-fi collection at Grandma’s and never looked back – Always enjoyed discussions with Bob about sci-fi writers and the books they wrote.
William and Chelsea, thankyou for the wonderful and beautifully delivered eulogy and slideshow. It brought back many lovely memories
I am a friend of over 60 years, having first met Bob at the weekends to which Bruce invited his friends to the family farm in about 1959. Although I have lived in the UK since 1970, I have enjoyed Bob’s company on his visits to the UK when he often stayed with us and enjoyed his hospitality when my husband and I visited Australia.. I always enjoyed reading his annual epistles sent at Christmas with all the Belcher news. it was very nice to be ‘at’ his funeral service if only remotely.

Uncle Bob was a much loved and respected member of the Belcher clan.
We recall his charming character, humor, great intelligence and his big smile and laughter.
We will remember Bob with great fondness.
