Bruce was the kindest, most generous , and loveliest man. A friend of the Matthewman family for over 50 years. United with his beloved wife Lois. R.I.P. Bruce . Always in our hearts.xx

Bruce was a person who made a positive difference to the lives of so many – from building a school and an aged care facility, to supporting community clubs, projects and events (such as the Annual Thanksgiving Breakfast and Stan Morrison Award) and being a great friend. He was always alert to the needs of others, and a great stalwart of St John’s Essendon. Rob and I have great memories of dinners out with Bruce and Lois – always interesting conversations and stories and lots of laughs! We will miss him very much but there is some comfort in knowing he is now with his beloved Lois. Sending sincere condolences to his family and many friends at this sad time.
