Oma was not your standard “Grandma”. She is a pure original, one of a kind, left an impression on everyone that met her. All my friends talk about her all the time, who else can say they talk about other peoples grandparents!
Oma is the warmest, happiest, silliest, funniest, loving and most non-judgemental person in the world. She treated all of us grandchildren with so much respect and pride. Nothing we did could upset her, I do not recall a single time she yelled or got cross at me or told me off. She was so proud of our achievements and thought the world of us and everything we did. She welcomed our partners with open arms and loved our kids like they were her own. I do not use this word often but Oma was PERFECT. In every single way. I will miss her so much and hope to “grow up” to be just like her. Love you Oma xxx Monique
